Elevate Therapy is a private therapy office located in Thunder Bay, ON. We are dedicated to providing quality, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive mental health services to our clients. We work with clients who experience a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship concerns. We provide individual and couple’s therapy. We believe healing happens in relationships and pride ourselves on being able to foster a safe environment and positive relationship with clients.

Clinical Psychotherapist (RSW or RP)

Positions: Part-time, Full-time, Contract

Overview:

We are looking for new dedicated and passionate psychotherapists to join our growing team! If you take pride in providing excellent client care and providing trauma informed, anti-oppressive therapeutic interventions, we would love to hear from you. We are hiring full time and part time independent contractors.

This position is for an independent contractor, which allows you to focus on your work with your clients while we manage the administrative and marketing tasks.

We are especially interested in therapists with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Trauma (EMDR, IFS)
Eating Disorders & Body Image
Perinatal Mental Health
Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy
Men's Mental Health

Education
This position requires a Master’s Degree. Candidates must be registered with the OCSWSSW or the CRPO and hold Professional Liability Insurance.

Qualifications

3+ years experience providing quality evidence-based therapy to individuals and/or couples
Understanding and experience working in a trauma-informed model
Has a clear direction and plan for their continuing competence goals
Works collaboratively with clients from an anti-oppressive/anti-racism lens and is passionate about diversity and equity while actively working to ensure these values are upheld in your practice
Understanding and experience providing client-centered care from a strengths-based perspective
Wiling to provide in-person and virtual sessions
Must be registered with or able to register with the OCSWSSW or CRPO
Must provide a criminal record check, including vulnerable persons, is required
