Hi, I'm Samantha!

Our lives are multi-faceted, and I believe that your therapy should be too. Each and every one of us is made up of unique parts and systems that help make us whole. As a woman in today’s society, I understand the unique challenges we face. From changes in self-esteem based on societies idea of worth, to conflicting opinions about the self, and adapting to new roles and responsibilities, it can be challenging to feel settled or whole. You may be asking; “who am I really?” or “Am I living as my authentic self?” You’re not alone, I’ve been there. Our day-to-day experiences can be invalidating, exhausting, and leave us feeling a loss of control. Therapy can help to create a healthy shift in your outlook on life and leave you feeling supported and better equipped for challenges faced in the future.

Whether you’re looking for a formal therapeutic experience or a flexible eclectic approach, I am here for you. I aim to create a safe space for you to be yourself and develop new skills and strategies to help you take on the challenges of life.

I believe that therapy should be a collective process - we will work together to ensure you feel safe, connected, and supported throughout the process. I practice from an anti-oppressive, client-centred approach, with elements of several therapeutic modalities including strengths-based approach, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused therapy, Dialectical Behavioural skills and strategies and more.
