My desire to work as a therapist comes from my passion and enthusiasm for connecting with others and my core belief that healing happens through our relationships with ourselves and others.
Founding Elevate Therapy has been a way for me to connect with others and support them in their journey of becoming their best selves. Growth and development is an ongoing journey for all of us. Whether you're struggling with your mental health (i.e. depression, anxiety, trauma), working on self-development, in the process of healing, or you simply need a safe place to talk, I am here for you.
While it can feel uncomfortable going to a stranger and disclosing your personal information, I work to make you feel as comfortable as possible to support you through the process of taking care of your mental well-being in a safe and supportive environment. I am actively involved in professional development and have additional training in trauma-informed practice, internal-family systems therapy, interpersonal violence, acceptance and commitment-based therapy, and emotionally focused therapy. My practice is rooted in an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, non-judgmental framework.
Finding a therapist that you connect with personally is imperative to the therapeutic process which is why I am happy to offer a free 15-minute consultation to explore whether my services feel like a good fit for you.

I work from a humanistic, person-centered approach that is anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I utilize the Tri-Phasic Model of trauma, IFS, EFT, CBT, DBT and ACT. I also use somatic therapy approaches to facilitate mind-body connection through grounding, mindfulness and meditation.
