Life can be full of ups and downs—a mixture of beautiful moments and moments that are deeply challenging or difficult. Some days, it may feel like it is too much to bear alone. If you are navigating a difficult season, I want you to know that you don’t have to do it by yourself.
As a therapist, I consider it an honour to hold space for you in a way that feels safe, authentic and compassionate. I approach every session with warmth, empathy, honesty and even a touch of gentle humour when it’s helpful. I value the importance of trust, human connection and a strong therapeutic alliance.
With over two decades of experience in mental health and addictions, I’ve worked in both outpatient and live-in treatment settings. My passion lies in helping clients who are struggling with trauma, substance use, anxiety and depression. I meet you where you are, providing a non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. Together, we will work towards your goals, build on your strengths and skills, and find ways to feel more empowered and confident in yourself and your journey.
I take an eclectic approach tailored to your unique needs, drawing from a range of evidence-based therapies. My practice is rooted in client-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed and anti-oppressive frameworks. I am trained in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) and Motivational Interviewing.
If you’re ready to explore how therapy might help or just curious to see if we’d be a good fit, I invite you to book a free 15-minute phone consultation.
